The STTAR Center, Inc. is a private, 501(c)3 non-profit agency that serves victims of psychological trauma. These include, but are not exclusive to child abuse, sexual assault, other violent crimes, auto and other accidents, traumas causing post-traumatic stress disorder, and traumatic grief.
The STTAR Center’s services are partially supported by grants from Howard County Government, Maryland Department of Human Resources, and the U.S. Department of Justice. Non-governmental supporters include the Rouse Foundation, the Columbia Foundation, the Horizon Foundation, Target, AscendOne, and United Way of Central Maryland.
