Traumatic Grief
STTAR Center Clinicians Treat Traumatic Grief
STTAR Center's clinical staff has training and experience in working with families that have lost loved ones suddenly. Traumatic grief happens when a loved one dies suddenly and the family or friends have not had an opportunity to prepare themselves for this sudden loss. STTAR Center clinicians have received training and have experience in working with individuals and families who has had someone dear to them die suddenly. This area of trauma treatment requires a special type of understanding and care that is indicative of STTAR's clinical staff having worked with many in vulnerable situations. The goal is to assist the trauma survivor in coping as they recover from their trauma. For more information or to request treatment, please call 410-290-6432 X115.
