STTAR Center Administration Staff
STTAR Center administration staff have an average of 6 years with STTAR, and the Executive Director has been in non-profit management for more than 15 years and has several non-profit management certifications and trainings in various aspects of non-profit leadership. The Billing staff have many certifications in understanding and managing insurance billing, as well as certifications by several major insurance companies after specific trainings offered by these providers. The Billing staff is responsible for the credentialing of the clinical staff and ensuring insurance provider status.

STTAR Center Clinical Staff
STTAR Center clinical staff are all licensed mental health professionals with an average of 16 years in trauma work. Our most experienced clinician has 33 years in treating trauma and as much as 4 years for the clinician that has the least amount of time in the field. This level of experience cannot be found in any other organization in central Maryland. The Clinical team carries with it certifications that include treating traumatic grief and reactive attachment disorder. The modalities of trauma treatment offered at STTAR include Art Therapy, Play Therapy, Eye Movement Descensitization and Reprocessing, and others.
