Krysta S. Huxford
Krysta S. Huxford is Leadership U coordinator for Leadership Howard County. She and her husband, Dane, have lived in Columbia since 2000.
Krysta is a graduate of the 2005 Leadership Howard County class and served as a mentor for Leadership U, an exciting leadership development, teambuilding, and community service opportunity for high school students for two years.
She serves on the executive committee on the board of directors for the STTAR Center in Columbia and is also a board member with the Howard County Arts Council.
She is a member of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce’s Howard County Young Professionals Steering Committee.
She is also a founding member of twentyfivefortyfive, a NextGen initiative of the Columbia Foundation. Ms. Huxford holds a B.A. degree with a dual major in communications and theatre arts from McDaniel College (formerly Western Maryland College).
In her spare time she enjoys acting with Dobler’s Pen Productions, an independent film company.
She grew up on a remote Christmas tree farm in the mountains near Deep Creek Lake, MD and attributes this to her independent, imaginative and fun-loving personality.

Pam Klahr
Pam Klahr is President and CEO of the Howard County, MD Chamber of Commerce, serving a membership of over 800 members. She also serves as President of MACCE (MD Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives). Pam began her chamber career serving first as a volunteer for over nine years in every capacity possible, for the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce in Lancaster, PA.
She assumed the role as Vice President of Membership and Marketing there for over thirteen years.
Pam received her CCE (Certified Chamber Executive) in 2000.
She was recruited by ACCE (American Chamber of Commerce Executives) shortly after the certification to serve as VP of Marketing and Chief Liaison for the Metro Chambers. (100 largest Chambers in the Country)
. Though she loved this job, she missed her roots in a community where she could make a difference.
Miss Klahr, a life-long learning advocate, is a graduate of the U.S. Chambers Institute of Management through the University of Delaware.
She is a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, N.C.
Beverly Koren
Beverly Koren retired from the Howard County Public School System as Principal of Clarksville Middle School . Prior to serving as a Principal she was an assistant principal, a special education teacher and team leader and a kindergarten and first grade teacher.
Beverly and her husband are long time residents of Howard County. Their 2 daughters went to school in Columbia, share her passion for teaching, and are teachers in the school system. Together with their families they also are residents of the county. Beverly serves on the
boards of The Columbia Foundation and The Women’s Giving Circle.

Allison H. Moran
Allison Moran is the owner of the Baltimore Washington Corridor Growth Coach franchise. As a Marylander for most of her life, she has resided in all four of the counties that are part of the corridor. Currently, an Anne Arundel (Annapolis) resident, she previously lived in Columbia for 7
years. Now, having a business based in Howard County, she spends most of her time somewhere local and is excited to be part of an organization that helps the Howard County residents. When she isn't working hard to grow The Growth Coach brand, she is spending time with her toddler and husband.
Julia Ramirez
Julia Ramirez is a senior at Long Reach High School. She is a yearbook editor and is interested in photography and scrapbooking. Julia has played year-round sports (soccer, backetball, track) throughout her high school years. She participated in Leadership U Howard County during her Junior year and
is now a member of the 2007-2008 Youth on Board Program. Julia hopes to attend University of Florida next year. She has been living in Columbia since 1996.
